Role Overview

  • Virgin Active is on a mission to inspire people to live more active, healthier lives, and we are looking for a dynamic Digital Marketing Coordinator to help us bring this mission to life.
  • This role sits at the heart of our marketing function, supporting campaign delivery, centralising creative assets, managing timelines, and helping execute bold, disruptive marketing ideas.
  • You will be the key driver ensuring campaigns and activations are delivered efficiently, accurately, and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Coordination & Delivery

  • Manage end-to-end coordination of digital and brand marketing campaigns

  • Track, communicate, and manage campaign timelines and deadlines

  • Act as the central point of contact between internal teams, creative partners, media, and agencies

  • Maintain an up-to-date marketing calendar and proactively identify risks or bottlenecks

Creative Asset Management

  • Centralise and organise creative assets across all platforms

  • Ensure assets are correctly labelled, version-controlled, and easily accessible

  • Package and distribute creative assets to digital, social, product, and external media teams

Stakeholder Communication

  • Coordinate internal check-ins, campaign work-in-progress meetings, and task tracking

  • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders across the business

  • Ensure clear and consistent communication regarding campaign progress, changes, and deliverables

Activation & Event Logistics

  • Support coordination of brand activations, sponsorships, and in-club events

  • Liaise with suppliers, venues, and internal teams to ensure seamless, on-brand execution

  • Assist with planning timelines, budgets, and post-activation reporting

Presentation & Reporting Support

  • Assist in creating professional presentations, strategy decks, and campaign reports

  • Ensure presentations are formatted according to brand CI and are stakeholder-ready


Minimum Requirements

  • 2–3 years’ experience in a marketing coordination or project support role

  • Relevant qualification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

  • Strong project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Ability to collaborate across multiple teams, departments, and business units

  • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail

  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Slides/Docs

  • Exposure to project management tools (e.g. Asana, Monday.com, Trello) is advantageous

  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels and creative formats (social, display, email)
