Job Overview
- Our client, a leading payment aggregator and provider of secure payment solutions, is seeking a Business Analyst to join their growing team.
- The company delivers innovative, customer-focused payment solutions to both banked and unbanked individuals across Southern Africa.
- Their expertise spans secure and convenient payment solutions for retailers, digital platforms, banking institutions, wallets, and informal vendors.
Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from internal and external stakeholders.

Act as a bridge between business and technical teams by translating business needs into clear requirements and delivery plans.

Assist the business with documenting operational procedures and process flows.

Support the gathering and documentation of reporting requirements.

Maintain and manage changes to requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Work closely with the PMO to support priority projects and assist with backlog grooming alongside product owners and project managers.

Manage and maintain Business Analyst artefacts, ensuring all requirements are reviewed and approved by stakeholders.

Continuously review requirements-gathering processes and tools, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency.

Support UAT and testing activities to ensure features are delivered according to documented requirements and agreed quality standards.
Required Skills and Experience

2–3 years’ experience in a Business Analyst role.

Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including interaction with senior management and development teams.

Solid understanding of systems and software development environments.

Experience within the payments or financial services industry is required.

Knowledge of the end-to-end payments environment (retail, digital, banking, card schemes, EFT, settlement, acquiring, etc.) is advantageous.

Relevant tertiary qualification.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Draw.io, Jira, Confluence, and Visio.

Valid driver’s licence.

Fluent in English; Afrikaans proficiency is advantageous.
