Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Achieve the annual sales budget by meeting and exceeding daily and monthly targets to ensure business sustainability.

  • Manage and control all financial aspects of the store to ensure profitability.

  • Maintain merchandising standards in line with brand requirements to ensure an optimal product mix.

  • Ensure effective stock management and control to minimise losses and maintain product availability by monitoring stock-related risks.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure an outstanding customer experience.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with all relevant internal and external service providers.

  • Manage human resources effectively, including recruitment, workforce planning, and accurate payroll administration.

  • Inspire, motivate, develop, and hold team members accountable.

  • Align staff with company culture while fostering a positive and engaging work environment.

  • Implement and enforce all company policies and procedures.

  • Maintain health and safety standards at all times.

Experience Required

  • Minimum of 5 years’ store management experience.

  • Minimum of 8 years’ retail experience.

  • Experience working in a large retail store with an annual turnover exceeding R20 million.
