Requirements
- Applicants must be in possession of a Grade 12 certificate and a National Diploma in Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, Financial Management, or an equivalent related qualification (NQF Level 6).
- A minimum of three (3) years’ supervisory experience in the financial management field is required.

Duties
- Control and coordinate the budget of the branch.
- Manage and coordinate the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF), drawings, budget adjustments, and the Estimates of National Expenditure (ENE) process.
- Ensure that the branch budget is accurately allocated to relevant responsibilities and cost centres.
- Realign budgets in line with operational requirements and manage the funds shifting process.
- Manage restitution household and current payments.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external financial prescripts during payment processing.
- Verify and authorise payments in line with delegated authority.
- Ensure payments are processed accurately, within prescribed timeframes, and in accordance with SCOA allocations.
- Monitor and manage expenditure by analysing expenditure trends against spending plans and drawings.
- Compile and coordinate financial reports. Report on expenditure against monthly cash flow projections (IYM) and spending plans.
